Villarosa Architects & Engineers is an architectural firm and complete engineering consultancy + construction management firm founded in 2012 by Archt. Minerva Villarosa and Archt. Roger Villarosa. Headed by Principal Architects Roger Villarosa and Minerva Villarosa together with Principal Engineer Rodin Villarosa, the firm provides design services for residences, townhouses, apartments, condominiums, educational institutions, health institutions, office buildings, warehouses, resorts, events places and commercial buildings. VAE aspires to create sustainable, timeless, elegant, functional and practical architectural and structural designs without creating financial stress for its clients. We aim to continue the legacy of Archt. Roger Villarosa, co-founder, that "in loving work, there is honor."

Minerva Villarosa

ASEAN Architect Minerva Villarosa is the Principal Architect & CEO of Villarosa Architects & Engineers, another office of the Villarosa family. She works together with her husband, Principal Engineer Rodin Villarosa, as well as her mentor & father-in-law Architect Roger Villarosa.

Archt. Minerva also served as the president of the Greenhills Chapter of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) for two terms and a member of the Eastern Regional Organization for Planning & Human Settlements (EAROPH), furthermore, he was an international associate of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Principal Engineer

Pio Rodin Villarosa

Engr. Rodin is a practicing Civil Engineer since 1988. His Civil and Structural Engineering Projects include structures ranging from residential, educational, commercial, religious developments, and high-rise buildings.

As an experienced engineer, his work also extends to existing structures. He is versed in the practice of Structural Investigation, Assessment as well as Retrofit techniques for buildings 20 years old and above. is versed in the practice of Structural Investigation, Assessment as well as Retrofit techniques for buildings 20 years old and above.

Alongside his Engineering expertise, he also provides professional Project Management and Construction services for our various clients.

Consultant & Principal Architect

Archt. Roger Villarosa

He is the Principal Architect & Founder of Rogelio C. Villarosa Architects in 1972. In 1983, Archt. Roger then became a Partner of R.Villarosa Architects. In 2012, he became a Co-Founder and Principal Consultant for Villarosa Architects & Engineers with Archt. Minerva and her husband Engr. Rodin.

Archt. Roger graduated from Mapua in 5 July 1954 and apprenticed under Architect Felipe Mendoza for 2 years. He proceeded to top the Architectural Licensure Exam on 12 July 1954 the same year.

Apart from all these achievements, he is a member of FOMI, Foundation of Outstanding Mapúans; of PIA, Philippine Institute of Architects; and, of UAP, United Architects of The Philippines.

A Gift for the Youth, the Children’s Hospital by Archt. Minerva Villarosa

In 2010, the Pasig City Local Government recognised the need for a full service medical center for their young demographic, and now ASEAN Archt. Minerva Villarosa was the professional who designed this into reality.

The children’s hospital features six floors for complete medical services available to Pasig City youth: the emergency rooms, pharmacy and outpatient area on the first floor; operating rooms, intensive care units, NICU and central supply department on the second; laboratory, radiology and diagnostic clinics on the third; ward rooms on the fourth; semi and private rooms on the fifth; offices, training rooms, medical records, physical therapy and audio visual room are on the sixth; and a multi-purpose hall and cafe on the garden roof deck.

Key to Children’s Hospital design was Archt. Minerva’s intention of creating a bright, cheerful, and uplifting space for young people to enjoy and maximize during their stay in the public hospital. Archt. Minerva values the psychological significance of architecture and how it creates a healthier environment for its users.

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

A Complete Renovation of the Pasig City General Hospital Embodies Archt. Minerva’s Mission of Service

ASEAN Architect Minerva Villarosa designed the total renovation of the Pasig City General Hospital (PCGH) in collaboration with the local government.

In order to meet the growing and expanding needs of the medical field, PCGH needed to meet the new standard requirements and fire safety requirements of a general hospital. A new interior ramp was installed for general requirements and emergency purposes.

Central to this project was the dedication and commitment to uphold the standards and non-negotiable elements of a proper and legal general hospital design. Archt. Minerva saw to it that PCGH will be a reputable example of a well-designed general hospital, able to deliver its services successfully to its users.

Asean architect Minerva villarosa designed the new modern Filipino look of the zobel dining room

Makati Sports Club has always embodied the Filipino spirit. What better way to honor this patriotic ideal by reflecting the spirit of the Club in its dining halls. This was the vision of Archt. Minerva for the Zobel Dining Room: an all-new Modern Filipino look.

ASEAN Archt. Minerva Villarosa collaborated with the MSCI Pres. Ismael Melendres and the MSCI Board of Directors to orchestrate the renovation of the Zobel Dining Room using warm, earthy tones to bring more life into the room; choice materials of wood and wallpaper finishes to add a sense of nature and dimension; as well as, glass panels and light alcoves to create effortless sophistication.
